We are delighted to welcome you to our home.

Allow me to introduce you to our cattery!

I launched my Siberian cattery, "PERLE D'ANJOU," in 2019, just before COVID.

My husband joined me, creating his cattery,

"MAGIC SYMPHONY," in 2020.

And finally, our daughter joined us in 2025 with her cattery,

"LA PERLE MAGIQUE."

Today, we are a small family cooperative whose goal is:

Well-being of the cats = Happiness of the adopters

Hwo are they for us?

Above all, they're our family.

They're our babies, the ones we love, raise, cherish, and share with through thick and thin.

We play together,

we sleep together,

we eat together too...

Where do they come from?

We went to find our first Siberian cats in their native country.

Six years later, here we are, surrounded by beautiful breeding cats born here.

And now, let's talk about serious things

Origins of Siberian Cats:
The Siberian cat is believed to have originated from a cross between the local wildcat (Felis silvestris), native to the Ural Mountains, the Central Siberian Plateau, and the Caucasus Mountains, and Russian domestic cats.
These cats have medium-length, smooth fur with a water-repellent effect and a dense double undercoat that allows them to survive the cold winters of various Russian regions, such as Siberia and Northern Russia.

Temperament:
These are the most wonderful cats in the world. They are very attached to humans and are true members of the family. A Siberian cat would much rather go on vacation with you than stay home alone.

They are well-adjusted, very affectionate, and very well-balanced cats. They sleep an average of 16 hours a day, which allows you to go to work with peace of mind.

They're often called "dog-like cats," and I agree with this description, which for me means that your cat follows you everywhere, wanting to participate in everything you do, whether it's cleaning, DIY projects, or cooking. Be careful what you put in your pot—your Siberian is watching you!

Health:
Siberians are considered a hardy and robust breed.

We tested our first Siberians for FIV-FeLV (feline leukemia and AIDS), HCM (heart disease), PKD (polycystic kidney disease), and PKDef (pyruvate kinase deficiency). We continue to test breeding cats from other breeders whose lineage is unknown. Regarding our breeding cats, given that we know their bloodlines, have extensive experience with the development of their offspring, and have been monitored by our veterinarians since birth, we only conduct tests when there is any doubt.

Hypoallergenic breed:

Research has shown that Siberians produce less of the protein called Fel d 1, which is responsible for allergies in humans. Nevertheless, if you are allergic to cats, we feel it is best to invite you to undergo a test with our Siberian cats or kittens before considering adoption.

The test is by appointment and lasts 30 minutes.

Diet:

We have explored all the current trends in cat food—grain-free kibble, high-meat kibble, BARF—before making our final choice. For the past three years, we've trusted Royal Canin products, which have provided health, good digestion, and excellent coat texture for all our feline companions.

The dry food is available to them day and night (you don't need to weigh the kibble if your cat isn't obese). In addition, we offer wet food every morning (half a pouch per day) and a natural diet several times a week in the evening (see our Feeding and Care section on the Kittens page).

Hygiene:

You'll have very little grooming to do for your cat; they manage very well without your help, except during shedding season when they lose more fur than usual. Brushing once a day or once a week—it depends on the season, your availability, your cat's acceptance, and so on. Just remember that it's easier to instill good habits in your furry friend while they're still young.

Training:
You can always try, but I won't lie to you—a cat isn't a dog; it will do as it pleases. If it's well-behaved, it will wait until you turn your back. If you absolutely want to teach it something, start right after adoption, always with patience, gentleness, and love. You can use treats as rewards to help it learn faster. Treat it like your baby; praise it when it succeeds and scold it when it misbehaves. Talk to your cat; it will respond.

Life expectancy of the Siberian cat:
Its average life expectancy is between 14 and 16 years.

Cat shows:

We actively participate in cat shows to ensure our Siberian kittens have a truly distinguished pedigree. Just to give you an idea, a cat needs three favorable opinions from three different judges to earn the title of Champion, which corresponds to 93 points out of 100 on the breed standard scale! In other words, a LOOF Champion cat is already a very, very beautiful cat recognized by professional judges.

All our cats are descendants of great bloodlines of Champions, Grand Champions, European Champions, and World Champions.

The well-being of our cats and kittens:

What is feline well-being? It is a positive mental and physical state of the animal that depends on the satisfaction of its natural needs. We go the extra mile every day to bring happiness and serenity to our cats.

We work seven days a week to see you leave with one of our kittens in your arms, a big smile on your face and sparkling eyes.

It's a rewarding and heartbreaking moment, the culmination of years of selective breeding, months of patience, and weeks of socialization, but it's also a separation you never truly get used to.

Thanks to each person / family who has trusted us and given our kittens a home, a bag of food, and their hearts.
